We imagine a community where all children have the support they need to develop healthy minds and bodies.
About happy roots
WHAT WE DO
Happy Roots Foundation is a private charitable foundation, founded in 2019. We are committed to supporting the healthy development of children’s minds and bodies.
We have devoted 2020 to research and outreach in the community, to learn more about where we can make the most meaningful impact on children and families in our region.
Our small team is working on a comprehensive strategic plan with a view to making a long term contribution to children’s mental health and wellness.
SUPPORT FOR OTTAWA
Our Response to COVID-19
COVID-19 has touched all of us in ways big and small, including kids. In light of this emergency situation, Happy Roots is making 20 donations of $10,000 each to hardworking organizations that provide food security, safe homes, or mental health supports to children and their parents in our community. This fits our mission to fund programs that work to support the healthy development of kids’ brains and bodies.
